J Mascis Says AI Does Not Belong in Music-Making

Dinosaur Jr. frontman J Mascis told The Verge AI has no place in music-making, saying it is here whether we like it or not and 'we're learning how to deal with it.' He called the generative-AI (computer-created) video for 'Old Friends' cool, saying 'just some kid did it,' but added 'I guess that's a slippery slope.'
