DNEG rebuilds Red for The Angry Birds Movie 3 after Sony handover

DNEG Animation rebuilt Red's fur, facial rig and expressions for The Angry Birds Movie 3 after taking over from Sony Pictures Animation, Variety reported. VFX supervisor Patrick Harboun told the View Conference in Turin that proprietary grooming, rigging and surfacing tools could not transfer and Red emerged with softer plumage and firmer, toy-like eyes and beak, Variety reported.
