Ben Katovsky named chief executive of Pipeline

Ben Katovsky has been appointed chief executive of Pipeline, Billboard confirmed on 15 October 2026. He previously ran Blackstone-backed Recognition Music Group and spent seven years at BMG as chief operating officer. Pipeline was founded and is chaired by Matt Spetzler, a former Francisco Partners private equity executive.
