Ambrosia Energy Starts Building Texas Battery Factory for Off-Grid Data Centers
Ambrosia Energy has started building a 150,000-square-foot, 10 GWh battery factory near Austin, Texas. The plant will supply its off-grid power stations, which combine solar panels and batteries to run data centers without the grid. CEO Ben Longmier announced the project at TechCrunch Disrupt. Full production is expected in two to three years, supporting about 300 MW annually.
