Chelsea hit back with 5-1 rout of Bournemouth

Chelsea beat Bournemouth 5-1 on Saturday to answer their 3-0 defeat by Brentford before the international break. New manager Xabi Alonso, who had just moved to a back three, saw a reshaped defence and altered build-up pay off after almost three weeks without league football. They had conceded a league-high 12 goals before the break.
