Denmark Proposes Physical Removal for Disruptive Pupils

Denmark's center-left government proposed Oct. 8, 2026 to allow teachers to hold, restrain or remove pupils who harass, insult others or seriously disrupt lessons, from August 2027. Physical force is now permitted only to prevent harm to people or property, under rules dating to a 1967 ban.
