Pakistan suspends PTI government in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa under emergency rule

President Asif Ali Zardari placed Khyber Pakhtunkhwa under emergency and governor's rule Sunday, suspending its PTI government in place since 2013. Islamabad says federal control is needed to fight terrorism, accusing the province of failing to show will to confront it. PTI says it will challenge the takeover in court Tuesday.
