BBC and BritBox cast Edward Bluemel as young Poirot in six-part 'Hercule'

BBC and BritBox are making 'Hercule', a six-episode Poirot origin story starring 33-year-old Edward Bluemel, Variety reported. James Prichard, chief executive of Agatha Christie Limited, said at the Edinburgh TV Festival in August the series shows Poirot in the 1920s as a younger man, not as the fully-formed detective.
