Verstappen gives Horner-conceived Red Bull engine its first wins

Max Verstappen delivered Red Bull's in-house engine — the power unit designed and built by the team — its first victories in Bahrain and Singapore in October 2026. The project was conceived by Christian Horner, who left in July 2025 after 20 years. Horner said Red Bull executive Oliver Mintzlaff rang to thank him.
