E.T. designer Carlo Rambaldi to receive posthumous Walk of Fame star Oct. 15

Italian effects designer Carlo Rambaldi, who designed the alien in Steven Spielberg's "E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial," will receive a posthumous Hollywood Walk of Fame star on Oct. 15, according to Variety. The unveiling at 1611 Vine Street falls in the centenary year of his birth, according to Variety.
