Bronze ring engraved with Lighthouse of Alexandria found off Egypt

The Art Newspaper reported that underwater archaeologists under Franck Goddio recovered a bronze signet ring, used to press a seal, engraved with the Lighthouse of Alexandria from submerged Royal Island of Antirhodos off Alexandria, Egypt. Egypt’s ministry for tourism and antiquities said it is the first lighthouse picture found engraved on a seal ring and the only example known.
