Sense and Sensibility stars avoided watching Ang Lee's version

Esmé Creed-Miles, Frank Dillane and George MacKay said they avoided watching Ang Lee's 1995 Sense and Sensibility while making Georgia Oakley's new version, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Daisy Edgar-Jones told The Hollywood Reporter the intention was not to compete with the past film. Lee's version won the screenplay Oscar, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
