Burnham sets out plan to give English metro mayors control of economic policy

Andy Burnham unveiled a devolution framework on 29 June to shift economic policy, skills training, housing and transport decisions from Westminster to English metro mayors. The proposal builds on Greater Manchester's existing settlement and suggests a standardised national model.
