Paramount–Warner Bros. Discovery merger closes

Paramount and Warner Bros. Discovery have closed their merger, Variety reported on 6 October 2026. A U.S. judge had cleared Paramount Skydance to close the acquisition, Reuters reported on 2 October. One company now controls CBS, Warner Bros. TV, Paramount TV Studios and U.S. networks, deciding commissions, renewals and schedules.
