Punjab soil mixed into bricks of permanent Scarborough sculpture

Earth from the Gurdwara Sri Fatehgarh Sahib site in Punjab, India was mixed into bricks forming Toronto-based artist Nirbhai (nep) Singh Sidhu's outdoor sculpture “A Deathless Potential In Remembrance By You” (2026), The Art Newspaper reported. The Toronto Biennial of Art in Toronto commissioned the work for permanent installation at the Scarborough Gurdwara in Scarborough, Toronto, the paper reported.
