Jerry Golod, former CBS and NBC executive turned producer, dies at 87

Jerry Golod, producer of Tales From the Darkside, died aged 87 at his Rancho Mirage home after a brief cancer battle, Variety reported. Before launching JayGee Productions in the early 1980s, he was CBS vice-president of children's programmes in 1975 and NBC Entertainment vice-president and national program director in 1979, Variety reported.
