Bahrain Grand Prix moves to Sepang after Middle East cancellations
Formula 1 returned to Sepang for the first time in nine years to stage the Bahrain Grand Prix in Malaysia, more than 6,000km from Bahrain. The Bahrain and Saudi Arabia races were cancelled at the start of the year because of the war in the Middle East. The Bahrain trophy will be presented, with rosewater replacing champagne on the podium.
