Disney names eight directors guaranteed episodes in 2026-2028 program

Disney Entertainment Television has named eight emerging directors to its 2026-2028 scripted Directing Program, Deadline reported. Each is guaranteed the opportunity to direct a Disney series episode, after a first year of shadowing — following a working director — mentorship and executive access. Pairings include Tracker, Scrubs and High Potential.
