Oman beat Iraq in drawing of lots to reach Gulf Cup semi-finals

Oman reached the Gulf Cup semi-finals after beating Iraq in a drawing of lots. The teams finished level on four points in Group A after Oman's 3-1 win over Kuwait. Organisers said head-to-head, goal difference, goals and disciplinary points could not split them, so the Gulf Football Association's Competitions Committee drew lots to decide second place.
