ChatGPT becomes an in-chat platform for apps

OpenAI is turning ChatGPT into a place to find, open and use apps without leaving the conversation. ChatGPT will suggest relevant apps during a chat; users can connect one and work in interactive windows built on an expanded plug-in system, which lets outside services hook into ChatGPT. OpenAI puts weekly users at 1.2 billion.
