Tom Cruise plays Texas oil tycoon Digger Rockwell in Alejandro G. Iñárritu's Digger, Variety reported in its 29 September review. Variety describes it as a climate-change satire built around a methane release and a 400-mile-wide ice shelf split threatening Europe with a tsunami.
