Adjani Salmon says one US pilot pays more than two BBC seasons

Adjani Salmon, co-creator and star of Dreaming Whilst Black, told the RTS London Convention he earns more writing one US comedy pilot — a trial episode to test a series — than for two BBC seasons, as reported by Deadline. The pilot may never be made, he said. "By that metric financially, why should I make British TV going forward?" he asked.
