Standards Commissioner Investigates Farage Over Undeclared £5m Gift

The parliamentary commissioner for standards is investigating Nigel Farage for failing to declare a £5 million gift from Christopher Harborne, a cryptocurrency billionaire and Reform UK donor. Farage received the payment before entering Parliament and says he had no obligation to register it. The commissioner is also examining whether Farage breached rules by not declaring income within 28 days of his election.
