Over 50 Arrested Outside Labour Conference for Supporting Palestine Action

Merseyside Police arrested over 50 people outside Labour's Liverpool conference on September 28 for expressing support for Palestine Action. Police said detentions were under the Terrorism Act, which governs terrorism offences. The group was banned — formally listed as a terrorist organisation — in July 2025. Over 250 people joined the sit-down protest organised by Defend Our Juries.
