Eton limits new pupils' iPads to whitelist sites and overnight ban

Eton College told parents of new first-year pupils that school iPads will run through a safe browser limited to teacher-approved whitelist sites. Deputy head Mike Grenier set out the rule in a summer letter. From October, boys including Prince George, 13, must use the Eton-Learning network, keep no devices overnight and hand them in 30 minutes earlier on Saturdays.
