Melania Trump and Madame Peng Liyuan toured the Smithsonian National Museum of Asian Art in Washington, D.C. on 24 September 2026, ARTnews reported. The White House said the joint visit highlighted Sino-American artwork, culture and the next generation. The First Lady's office listed the outing in the programme for Chinese President Xi Jinping's White House visit.
