Andy Carroll reveals he was sexually assaulted at home in 2021

Former England striker Andy Carroll has revealed he was sexually assaulted at home in 2021 while sleeping, during his second spell with Newcastle United. Carroll disclosed the incident in his autobiography. He said the attacker, a guest staying overnight to watch boxing, was later convicted. Carroll now plays for and co-owns Dagenham & Redbridge.
