Seedcamp Closes $220M Fund, Expands US Operations to Close Portfolio Gap

European seed fund Seedcamp closed Fund VII at $220 million and embedded a dedicated US team to help portfolio companies scale stateside—historically a weak point for European investors. The structural investment, announced in June, goes beyond symbolic presence: operational support for hiring, Series A fundraising, and US market entry. Other European VCs are adopting the same model.
