Neale faces 4pm Thursday appeal to keep Grand Final spot

Brisbane co-captain Lachie Neale faces the Appeals Board at 4pm AEST Thursday to challenge his one-match ban for striking, an illegal hit. The charge, graded by the match review officer as intentional conduct with medium impact to the body, stems from the preliminary final against Hawthorn at the MCG. If he loses, he misses Saturday's Grand Final against Fremantle.
