Meta plans $1,300 VR glasses for spring 2027 for film, TV and sport

Meta plans to sell VR glasses for $1,300 in spring 2027 for films, TV and sport on theatre-sized virtual screens, Deadline reported. Meta says the frames-plus-puck hardware is five times lighter than Quest 3. Meta says its TV app will offer Prime Video, HBO Max, Paramount+ and others.
