Kacey Musgraves will honour Dolly Parton with a tribute at the 2026 MTV Video Music Awards on 27 Sept., Deadline reported. The slot is her first VMA performance in five years, per Deadline. Parton died 25 Aug. aged 80. The ceremony airs 7:30-9:30 PM ET on CBS, simulcast on MTV and streaming on Paramount+ Premium in the US.
