CNN chief wants to stay through Paramount Skydance takeover

CNN chief executive Mark Thompson told staff: "I am enthusiastic about staying." through Paramount Skydance's planned takeover of owner Warner Bros. Discovery, according to Variety. At a 23 September town hall, he said he has no knowledge of how Paramount wants to proceed, Variety reported. CNN declined comment.
