Weinstein to Appeal 15-Year New York Rape Sentence

Harvey Weinstein will challenge his 15-year New York sentence, his representatives said. Judge Curtis Farber imposed the term in September 2026 for the 2006 rape of Miriam Haley, Deadline reported. Prosecutors sought 20 years; the defence sought nine. Weinstein, 74 at sentencing, 'will pursue every legal avenue available.'
