Josh Groban says he ignored advice that comedy would harm singing career

Josh Groban told Reader's Digest he was advised 'to not blow the brand' by doing comedy. He told editor in chief Leigh Belz Ray for the October/November issue that comedy showed 'there was a human being behind this persona.' He appeared with Conan O'Brien in 'I Won' at the 98th Oscars.
