YouTube Adds Chat-Based Editing for Creators

YouTube announced a chat-based editing tool at its Made On YouTube event. Creators type edit requests in plain English, and AI assembles the cut. It works for both full-length videos and Shorts, shifting the first assembly from hands-on timeline editing to text-prompt direction.
