YouTube Puts Shopping in Ask YouTube

YouTube will add shopping to Ask YouTube, its search tool that answers questions in plain language. Announced Sept. 23, 2026 at Made on YouTube, it will show organized product picks with comparison tables by feature and preference across Shorts and long-form video, with follow-ups answered on the watch page by a custom Gemini model.
