Xbox to cut 268 roles, reduce Halo Studios to support team

Xbox said it will eliminate 268 roles, mostly at Halo Studios. Xbox announced the cuts on 22 September 2026 in an Xbox Wire post titled 'Continuing Our Reset'. Halo Studios, formerly 343 Industries and developer behind Halo since Halo: Reach in 2010, will remain as a small support team.
