Angine de Poitrine win both 2026 Polaris album and song prizes

Angine de Poitrine won the 2026 Polaris Music Prize for Vol. II and the SOCAN Polaris Song Prize for “Fabienk”. Pitchfork reported they are the first act to win both in the same year. Polaris announced winners 22 September 2026 at Massey Hall in Toronto and said prizes carried 30,000 and 10,000 Canadian dollars respectively.
