Variations on Violence wins Oldenburg Best Film award

Zachary Nichols's Variations on Violence won the German Independence Award for Best Film at the Oldenburg Film Festival, The Hollywood Reporter reported on 23 September 2026. Nichols first developed the project as an art installation before expanding it into a feature, the trade reported.
