World's Edge loses just under half its staff in move under Activision

Age of Empires steward World's Edge lost just under half its staff and moved under Activision control in Xbox's restructuring, according to former creative director Adam Isgreen, who said he was among those let go. Xbox said in its update published 22 September 2026 it would eliminate 268 roles across Halo Studios, other first-party studios and central functions.
