Shaun Edwards joins Red Roses inspired by late mother

Shaun Edwards has joined the Red Roses as defence coach for the rest of the autumn campaign, including the WXV Global Series. Back-row Marlie Packer said Edwards told players his late mother Phyllis, a Wigan hairdresser who died in March 2021, never had the opportunity to play rugby and would have loved to do so.
