Rose Tattoo scrapped 50th anniversary tour after Anderson heart attack

Rose Tattoo scrapped the remainder of its 50th anniversary tour, including planned Australia shows, after frontman Gary 'Angry' Anderson suffered a heart attack in August while the band was on tour in Europe, Billboard reported on 23 September 2026. Anderson was hospitalised in Germany. He died on the eve of 21 September 2026 in Australia, aged 79, the band said.
