Minister has no confidence in fire chief

Internal Affairs Minister Brooke van Velden says she has no confidence in the Fire and Emergency New Zealand chief executive. She spoke as a select committee — a group of MPs that checks agencies — reported failings at FENZ. The Government says it will not get directly involved in its planned restructure.
