Outkast sue Ovrkast over name, seek ban and merchandise destruction

Outkast's trademark company High Schoolers sued Oakland producer Silas Wilson, who records as Ovrkast, in federal court in Georgia on 16 September. The 31-page complaint alleges trademark infringement, unfair competition and breach of contract. It seeks a permanent ban on the Ovrkast name, damages, legal fees and destruction of disputed merchandise.
