Two former Booker winners reach 2026 shortlist

Marlon James and Douglas Stuart are on the 2026 Booker Prize shortlist, the final six books still in contention. James is listed for The Disappearers; Stuart for John of John. James won in 2015 for A Brief History of Seven Killings; Stuart in 2020 for Shuggie Bain. The £50,000 winner will be announced 9 November.
