Met in New York announces 25-year loan of three Nigerian works

The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York announced a 25-year loan with Nigeria's National Commission for Museums and Monuments covering three artworks, the museum said on 21 September. The works were to be installed in September in the Met's Michael C. galleries. Ownership stays with Nigeria while the works are on view.
