Sony wins North American rights to Michelle Yeoh thriller The Surgeon

Sony Pictures won North American and some foreign rights to The Surgeon after multiple bids, Deadline reported 22 September. The action thriller stars Oscar winner Michelle Yeoh as an expert surgeon abducted to operate on a mysterious patient, Deadline reported. The pact adds Latin America, Italy, China and Hong Kong, Deadline reported. Thunder Road and Tango produced, Deadline reported.
