England beat Sri Lanka by 89 runs at Chester-le-Street on 22 September to lead the ODI series 1-0. England made 265 all out, with Harry Brook hitting 67 and Will Jacks an unbeaten 46. Jacks then took five for 22 as Sri Lanka fell for 176, Dunith Wellalage top-scoring with 45. The series continues at Headingley.
