Taoiseach says Israel FA must withdraw Hallgrimsson attack

Ireland's Taoiseach Micheal Martin called the Israel Football Association's attack on Heimir Hallgrimsson "unacceptable" and said it "should be withdrawn". He spoke in New York. It follows Hallgrimsson saying: "We're not playing with genocide, we're playing against genocide." Israel FA accused him of "ignorance, hypocrisy and stupidity". The sides meet in Nations League in Debrecen on Sunday.
