Farrar denies using National voter database for anti-tax letters

Author Nicky Hager claims in his book Dirty Work that pollster David Farrar used special access to the National Party's voter database to send targeted letters against a capital gains tax before the 2020 election. Farrar told RNZ he did not use the database, calling the claim "totally, 1000 percent wrong". He said he had not read the book.
